BACK TO SCHOOL!

I am sure all of you moms and dads out there are excited the kids are back at school! Well, so are we! The turtle bags are up, the paint and crayons are out, and we are officially two weeks into the school year.  Hope all of the kids are transitioning well.  If there are questions or concerns about the beginning of the year feel free to ask. Everyone should have received a class roster in their turtle bag. Contact your room parent or anyone on the school board. We are happy to help!

Fall Bike-a-thon and Potluck

Help Support Fairmount Church Cooperative Nursery School

Saturday, September 24th, 4–6pm

Bike-a-Thon in the Church's Parking Lot

Potluck to follow in the dining room

Toddler and young children have the option of biking around the cones 

in the parking lot of the church.  Participants may complete as many "loops" as desired. 

All proceeds of the event will go directly to the students of FCCNS.

School Orientation

Last night we had our 2011-12 School Orientation Night. It was great to see lots of new faces and old ones too!  If anyone has any questions or concerns about the upcoming school year don't be afraid to ask.  Room parents are here to help as well as any of the board members.  We are so excited to start the school year and we hope you are too!

New Teacher of the Young 3s Class

We are excited to announce that Carrie Knoop will be joining our teaching staff this fall!


A Kent State graduate, Carrie has taught both Kindergarten and preschool and has worked as an Early Childhood Consultant with Starting Point.  Carrie lives in South Euclid with her husband and 2 sons and loves exploring the metro parks with them on the weekends.  After being a Stay At Home Mom for the past 5 years, she is excited to be stepping back into the classroom.
